Revelation And The Word Part 3
A key way of experiencing His presence is reading the Bible. Read the Bible with the Holy Spirit.
Anything you can get out of the Word without intimacy will be significantly limited in it’s power to to transform you. We can get principals from scripture that will be effective, and helpful, but truth has the greatest life changing impact when it comes to us through relationship. Indeed we must come to the place where we grasp that without Holy Spirit the whole Christian life is impossible.
Valuing Word and experiencing what's in the the Word. Need word and risk, and divine encounters. Word and the Spirit play well together. Reach into the supernatural on the basis of the Word. Word igniting faith, risk. Not hardening your heart to its assertions, promises, commissions, definition of identity.
One personal Word: It is the Rhema word from His mouth (Matt 4:4, John 1:1). The word comes real to you personally and specifically, promises, encouragement, direction that becomes the anchor for your soul. Hope and faith are ignited, you receive strength to work through those promises even through the valley.
Resist self-defeating lies: You take the Rhema word of God in the valley of contrary circumstances and you expect the inner shift to produce a outer shift. Faith has been ignited, and then you break agreement with the lies by speaking the truth into your life. If there is any hopelessness in an area of your life, you are believing a lie. The God of Hope wants to fill you with joy -Rom 15:13. Declare the truth, believe first and your feelings will catch up.
One block doesn’t create a castle, but many blocks create a stronghold, a castle in the mind. A place for the enemy to work out from. Ways of imagining, thinking, viewing reality. Biblical Revelation lifts the veil on how we think, on what has existed all along. Repentance starts with a sorrow over a sin, and leads to a new way of thinking. Partnering with truth. A new way of seeing. He calls us to make adjustments in the way we see reality. To come in line with scripture.
Diligently transform your future through the Word of God: Renewing our mind will transform our future (Rom 12:2) as we are getting hold of His promises (2 Peter 1:2-4). Like Abraham (Rom 4:14-17), you will become fully convinced and you won’t waver!
